ABOUT OUR LIBRARY

Our library provides students with a wide range of fiction and nonfiction books available for students to browse and checkout.  Our collection supports the elementary curriculum while providing students with age-appropriate and entertaining materials to encourage a love of reading.

Classes visit our library every week for twenty-five (1-2) to thirty minutes (3-5) to explore and enjoy literature, learn library and research skills and to check out books. Books are checked out for a one week period and are due the day before the class comes to the library.

Come find out how you can help!

The library cannot function and serve our students well without the time and talents of our library helpers.

Please consider becoming one of our wonderful volunteers who help with the general housekeeping.

If you would like to help out at the library, please let your student's teacher know.  Volunteers should come 10 minutes prior to your student's library time.  Or if you would like to come at a time that is more convenient to you, please email ehock@srvusd.net.

No prior experience necessary!
