Welcome to Kindergarten!  An exciting year awaits your child, designed to promote your child's growth and development. I am looking forward to meeting each child and embark on a wonderful new year! Here are some tips that will help make the year go more smoothly.

SNACKS:  Remember to send a small, nutritious snack (no candy) with your child.  We work and play hard at school and need to refuel.  Please send items that your child can open easily- practice at home if necessary.  Be sure to label all water bottles with your child's name (disposable as well as reusable bottles).  Please no nut products, no fruit juices, no milk, nor glass containers.

CLOTHING AND SHOES: Children need to be able to run, jump, climb, and sit on the carpet during their day at school.  (Girls can consider wearing shorts under dresses so they can play and sit on the floor.) All children need to wear secure, closed-toed shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, cowboy boots, and Crocs are not appropriate for playing on the playground.  Thank you for helping your child be successful and have fun at recess.

PERSONAL POSSESSIONS: It is imperative that you put your child's name on everything brought to school.  This includes water bottles, jackets, sweatshirts, and books.  Please remind your child to bring everything home with them at the end of the day.  Lost and Found is in the front of the school near the multi-use room.

Please have your child leave all personal possessions at home including toys, bracelets, rings, watches, games, Ipads/phones, etc.  These items can easily get broken or lost, as well as resulting in an unhappy environment.

Regular Schedule

8:00a.m.-11:30a.m.  (unless you are notified otherwise)

For student’s safety, all visitors are required to check-in at the office and receive a badge prior to visiting the classroom or playground.  You need a badge each day you visit, no matter how frequently you plan to be on campus or how short your visit may be.  Please get a badge on Wednesday before helping with Computer Lab, or Library.  Thanks for helping us have a safe campus for all our students.
